Warning: (SPOILER ALERTS!!!!!!!!!):
Buddy from Atlanta got GOT by the neighborhood watch. OH, the Trayvon Martin layers.
They literally cast the blackest black dude they could find. When did Bobby Shmurda get out of jail??
REPORT: @RealDonaldTrump tweets, "Get Out is Fake News! Ni**as ain't dating white women that skinny. Sad!"
"The passenger I.D. request is normal, right?" - Carlton Banks
That "I would've voted Obama for a third term" do be putting even the wokest ni**a guard down a little bit.
Btw, is "I would've Obama for a third term" the new "my best friend is black?"
My black ass would've left as soon as I saw the help. I would've BIGLY left after I saw ole buddy sprinting in the dark. Later, we come to find out Granddad was training to beat Jesse Owens come hell or high water.
When that white lady was hypnotizing buddy, the first thing that popped in my mind was, "She went from the hot MILF in '40 Year Old Virgin' to just an average looking white mom."
The modern day slave auction scene that concluded with bingo was movie magic. Oh, the layers.
Shout out to Rod btw. He's my new BFF and I don't even know that ni**a. I'm calling him before I call my babymomma.
I love the part where Chris took a picture and sent it to Rod and they had the, "I KNEW I knew that ni**a from somewhere" moment. EVERY black person has had that "I KNEW I knew that ni**a from somewhere" moment.
Never trust a white girl when she says, "You're my first black guy."
Kellyanne Conway would've received an Oscar for this role if they casted her as Rose.
When Chris started fighting back and killing all them crazy white folks, it's almost like my blackness took over as I cheered with other black strangers, in total darkness, because we were on this journey of fighting horror racism, together.
Jordan Peele's twist at the end was incredible. Normally, to see cops at the end of horror movies mean, "We're safe" for most people. When black folks see cops at the end of a horror movie, we always like, "Hmmm, we'll see." So, to see a cop car pull up at the end of this movie and assume Chris was "fcked" is genius. Oh. The. Layers.
How did Rod find Chris is a good question, especially considering how many black dudes Rose done pulled over the years with her white girl voodoo magic. With that said, I left the movies not giving too much of a damn. I'm just happy "we" won in a horror movie, for once.
Summarization of Get Out: "Good racism" is just as terrifying , if not even more terrifying, than "Bad Racism."
Summarization of Get Out 2: I bet it took a LOT of white guilt to get this movie approved by Hollywood.
Summarization of Get Out 3: I'm putting Rod down as my emergency contact.
